网络：

饭可以一天不吃，网不可以一日不上。

一般resort/hotel都是可以上网的，有的免费，有的很贵（网上看到 每24小时3刀到25刀都有，或者每半小时1刀到5刀）；有的只能在特定区域（比如Lobby）才有信号，有的到处都可以；有的可以用自己的电脑，有的必须用旅店的电脑有线或无线上网；有的English操作系统，有的Spanish。正文里具体每个地方收费多少会有介绍。

手机电话：

不要用resort或hotel的电话，很贵，即使是Local电话。

http://www.mexitel.net 有租用手机业务，可以分配给你当地的电话号码，价钱还不错，接电话免费，打到美加每通电话不超过15分钟的话只收1刀，给其他Mexitel phone 不超过15分钟的话是0.5刀。但有邮寄费10刀到美国，20刀到Canada，另外还得花钱寄回去。如果电话很多，并且在墨西哥只呆在同一地方（same area code），可以考虑。呆在两个地方以上，话费有变，也还能接受。

如果电话不是特别多的话，可以考虑用自己的手机。

TMOBILE  prepaid program 在墨西哥用大约1.29刀/分钟。

我的手机是iphone，ATT月计划。下面有ATT的sales 的回复，不过先概括一下：

国际漫游 0.99刀/分钟。强烈建议出发前一天加入Mexico Plan，月费4.99 但可以prorate，回来后马上Cancel，这样一分钟0.59刀。Sales 特别强调，查voice mail 也是算钱的，missed call（电话响了但是不接）也要算一分钟。

Data Rates：手机3G上网很贵，每兆约20刀。（FYI，ATT 最基本的data plan 是每月15刀200兆）如果你必须3G上网，建议临行前加入International Data Plan，每月25刀20M，或60刀50M。超出的每兆5刀。如果省着点儿用，少用地图定位功能，别用Video，一两个星期20M也足够用了。我在Cancun机缘巧合，一直有上网的地方，所以international data 基本没用。这个也可以Prorate，但是必须从每月billing Cycle 开始那天算起，不同于Mexico Plan可随时开始。

TEXT：发一条50分，收一个算在国内的计划内，如果国内计划不含Text则是20分。带照片的TEXT发1.30刀，收30分。如果你觉得会发很多TEXT，可以加入每月10刀50条TEXT的International Text Plan，不知可否Prorate。

下面是ATT官方回复，在后面还有一些经验。

 Data rates while roaming internationally are $0.02 per kilobyte, estimated at $20.00 per megabyte.

 We offer four international data features that allow you to browse the web, send and receive e-mail, and utilize your applications.

 We offer (20 Megabytes) $24.99 Monthly Charge, (50MB) $59.99 Monthly Charge, (100MB) $119.99 Monthly Charge and (200MB) $199.99 Monthly Charge. Exceeding the data plan will incur charges at $5.00 per megabyte.

 The text messaging is separate from data.

 Outgoing text messages are billed at $0.50 each. Received text messages are deducted from your domestic text messaging plan. If you exceed your domestic text messaging plan or do not have one, each incoming text message is billed at $0.20 each. Any pictures sent are $1.30 to send and $.30 to receive.

 We offer 50 text messages to be sent while traveling internationally for $10.00 monthly charge. Received text messages are deducted from your domestic text messaging plan. If you exceed your domestic text messaging plan or do not have one, each incoming text message is billed at $0.20 each. Overages will be billed at $0.40 each text messages sent.

网上也有不少VOIP的小程序，试着下载到手机上用，不过基本都是要收费的。后来实际上我比较多的用了Google Voice，如果有无线网络的话，收发TEXT均不需花钱。不过打电话的话，是否用Google Voice或其他VOIP小程序还是用本来的号码打都一样要收Roaming Charge，59cent/分钟，所以手机花费并不多。

也曾试过用GOOGLE Latitude 跟朋友会合，这个多少有点儿滞后效应，而且担心数据量大，后来基本没用。关键时候不妨一试，不过最好事先操练一下。

朋友其实带了Walkie Talkie，近距离内或者两车上会有些用途。
